Samantha is an environmental educator, researcher, and science communicator with expertise in climate adaptation, ecotoxicology, and sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s from the University of Guelph. At Fokabs, she bridges social and natural sciences to address global sustainability challenges.

Dr. Alemagi, with a Ph.D. in Environmental and Resource Management from Brandenburg University, has authored over 50 publications on forest policy and climate change in Central Africa. He has held positions at ICRAF and UBC, specializing in climate mitigation, adaptation, REDD+, and sustainable forest management.

Kevin, Senior Climate and Low Carbon Development Analyst at Fokabs, has expertise in renewable energy, climate adaptation, mitigation, and finance. With experience in 15+ countries, he has published extensively and advised organizations like the GCF, WEF, AfDB, and ECREEE, including on renewable energy feasibility in Nigeria.

Vanessa, with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from Laurentian University, manages climate adaptation and mitigation projects at Fokabs and coordinates its Climate Finance course. Fluent in French and English, she has experience in conservation, field studies, and public education, including work with Canada’s Environmental Bureau and conservation initiatives.

Armand, Senior Manager at Fokabs, specializes in climate change, geomatics, and digital mapping. With expertise in GHG inventories, vulnerability analysis, and climate modeling, he supports MRV platforms and Central African countries in resilience planning. Armand has contributed to global projects and taught at the University of Dschang.

Elsie, with a master’s in Environmental Sociology from the University of Ottawa, leads Fokabs’ gender and climate work. She assesses gender considerations in global projects for climate funding and supports climate adaptation and mitigation efforts. Elsie joined Fokabs in 2017 after working in Europe’s healthcare sector.

Serges Okala, Environmental Economist at Fokabs, specializes in climate finance, mitigation, adaptation, and green growth. With a PhD in Environmental and Development Economics, he has advised governments and global organizations on NDCs, REDD+, and climate-smart agriculture. Serges also developed GCF proposals and supports African climate initiatives.

Stelle Djeukam, an environmental and social expert at Fokabs, has 7 years of experience working on climate change, gender, and social safeguards. With two master’s degrees, she has advised organizations like COMIFAC, UNDP, and the World Bank, focusing on impact assessments and environmental management across African projects.
