This project aims to mobilize and involve the private sector to invest in the financing of climate actions in the Republic of Congo and to play its role of stimulating sustainable development. Specifically, the project defines the role of the private sector within the climate finance architecture of the Green Climate Fund; defines clearly the mechanisms for private sector involvement and access to the Private Sector Assistance Fund for the financing of climate change; and identifies options and modalities for accrediting private sector structures to the Green Climate Fund.
