The objective of this assignment is to support the FAO in revising the concept note (CN) “AG-ADAPT: Scaling up Climate Resilient Food and Nutrition Security in Grenada” and the PPF application until GCF clearance, as well as in developing a funding proposal (FP), inclusive of its mandatory and other supporting annexes, so that it can be successfully submitted to and approved by the GCF.
Description of tasks:
- Completion of the CN and PPF application preparation process;
- Review the CN, PPF application and other relevant documents;
- Prepare a pre-feasibility study in support of the CN;
- Revise the CN and PPF application as required by NDA, FAO and GCF;
- Inception of FP preparation phase;
- Prepare a workplan for the FP preparation phase;
- Participate in assignment kick-off meeting;
- Conducting technical studies and stakeholder engagement;
- Prepare a stakeholder engagement plan;
- Perform technical studies and implement the stakeholder engagement plan;
- Formulation, submission and revision of FP Formulation, submission and revision of FP;
- Refine project design and complete the FP template;
- Finalize the FP submission package;
- Revise the FP until GCF Board approval.
