Douala – Cameroon, 24-27 October 2017. FOKABS is proud to be part of the 17th meeting of the Parties to the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP).
The 17th CBFP meeting will center around three workstreams: Workstream 1 on forest governance and land use; Workstream 2 on biodiversity and wildlife, and Workstream 3 on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Experts from FOKABS are invited to participate and play a key role in workstream 3. FOKABS will present and discuss the operationalisation of nationally determined contributions (CDNs), UNFCCC negotiations as well as on climate finance in Central Africa.
