Final Evaluation: ‘Disinfodemic’ on COVID-19 in Conflict-prone Environments Project

This goal of this project is to strengthen citizens’ resilience to COVID-related disinformation in conflict-prone environments and thus contribute to the achievement of SDG Target 16.

Fokabs’ role in the project is to conduct a final evaluation to assess the performance of the project and the quality of the main outputs and outcomes with focus on the expected results and development objectives. The elements of sustainability and gender equality are particularly important.

The findings of the evaluation will be used to:

  1. Enhance the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, and design of possible follow-up projects.
  2. Demonstrate the project’s achievements and challenges and identify lessons learned and programme areas still to be covered.
  3. Define measures and modalities to secure long-term sustainability of future projects.

Define the possible roles of UNESCO and the donor(s) after the initial funding phase
