CBIT: Capacity Building for Transparency in NDC Implementation

The Ministry of the Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED), the promoter of this project, is the main institution in charge of environmental management in Cameroon. The overall objective of the CBIT is to overcome barriers and establish solid foundations for the implementation of a climate change transparency framework in Cameroon, capable of supporting the implementation of the NDCs.

Specifically, this involves:

  • Improving awareness in order to guarantee the sustainability of commitments;
  • Strengthening the transparency framework by empowering institutions;
  • Strengthening the capacities and skills of participating institutions;
